Summary:                   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Numerical and alphabetical filing.
2. Pick up and deliver mail to the Nursing Office.
3. Run errands to other areas of the building or to other buildings on campus.
4. Xeroxing.
5. Answering telephones.
6. Collating.
7. Preparing bulk mailings.
8. Light typing.
9. Other activities requested by the office secretary, faculty and Assistant Dean of Health Professions, as appropriate to student capabilities and within limitations necessary to maintain confidentiality of student records.

Qualifications:

• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records.

Computer Skills

Basic computer skills preferred.

Normal Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Additional Requirement

• Availability to work during the hours of 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and/or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Exact hours to be determined in discussion with supervisor.
• Respiratory Care, Medical Laboratory Tech, Practical Nursing and Nursing students are NOT eligible.
• Interested applicants should submit their resume electronically in Microsoft Word to the Division of Health Professions Secretary.  After receipt of the resume, applicants will also be given a job application to complete.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
